Autumn blooms

I have been very slack with posting on here for quite some time as my work as an Environmental Scientist has been keeping me very busy. Back at the end of February I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a demo and class with Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations as I had some leave already planned for my 30th birthday. From this day I was able to pick up some great new skills in paper flower making. I've got a few examples of some of these below.

These are the flowers before attaching them to the card below. They are stamped with stamp paint and then die cut and shaped.

This is the finished card. It was made for my best friend's 30th birthday.

As these cards have quite a bit of height they don't fit into envelopes particularly well so I'm also making boxes for them. For postage I can make them to fit into a VHS postpak.

This is the birthday card I made for my mum. I've made the flowers and leaves by stamping onto velum with white ink, coloured the back with markers then shaped and added pearls into the centre of the flowers. The stamp is from Lilli of the Valley.

This is the Mother's Day card for my Omi. As with the first card I've used stamp paint but this time I went with dark stamp paint on bright cardstock.
